Adding Loyalty Programs

Add your loyalty programs for air, hotel, car, and rail travel to earn rewards automatically every time you book.


How to access the travel tool

  • In New Expensify: Click the green + button in the bottom-left corner of your screen, then select Book travel.
  • In Classic Expensify: Click Travel in the left-hand menu, then select Book or manage travel.

Need to enable travel still? Reach out to your Account Manager or Concierge to schedule a travel demo and get it enabled for your account.


Why add loyalty programs?

Adding loyalty programs to your profile means you won’t have to manually enter your information each time you book. Rewards and miles will apply automatically at checkout or after your flight has occurred, saving time and ensuring you get credit for each trip.

You can add as many loyalty programs as you’re enrolled in.

Important: Loyalty benefits will only apply if the name and gender in your travel profile match the name and gender on your loyalty accounts.


How to add loyalty programs

  1. Click your user icon in the top-right corner of the travel portal.
  2. Select My Profile.
  3. Click the Loyalty tab in the left-hand menu.
  4. Choose a category: Air, Hotel, Car, or Rail.

Air loyalty programs

  • Click the + button to add a new program.
  • Use the dropdown to select your airline loyalty program (for example: Delta SkyMiles, Air Canada Aeroplan).
  • Enter your program number.
  • Click Save to finish.

Hotel loyalty programs

  • Click the + button to add a hotel loyalty program.
  • Choose from the list of supported programs, or select Custom program if your program isn’t listed.
  • Enter your program number.
  • Click Save.

Car loyalty programs

  • Click the + button to add a car loyalty program.
  • Choose from the list of supported programs, or select Custom program if your program isn’t listed.
  • Enter your program number
  • Click Save

Rail loyalty or discount cards

  • Click the + button to add a rail card.
  • Choose the rail operator from the list.
  • Select whether it’s a Loyalty card or a Discount card.
  • Enter your program number and expiration date.
  • Click Save.

FAQ

What if my loyalty program isn’t listed?

For hotel or car programs, select Custom program and manually enter the details. Custom options are currently only available for hotels and car rental providers.

Can I add more than one program for each category?

Yes. You can store as many loyalty programs as you’d like across air, hotel, car, and rail.

Why didn’t I earn points on my last booking?

Check that your loyalty name and gender exactly match what’s listed on your travel profile. If they don’t match, loyalty benefits may not apply.
