How to fix a failed export to Campfire
When an export fails, the report history shows failed to export this report to Campfire, followed by the reason. Common errors include:
- No Campfire vendor found for – Reimbursable expenses export as vendor bills to the Campfire vendor whose email matches the report submitter’s email. Add the submitter as a vendor in Campfire using that email, then export the report again.
- Please select a Campfire company card account – Company card expenses need a Campfire account. Choose a Company card account in your Campfire export settings, then export the report again.

FAQ
Why don’t I see Export to Campfire on a report?
The report may not be approved, paid, or closed yet. You also need to be a workspace admin or the preferred exporter. If the report was already exported, you can still select Export to Campfire from More > Export, and Expensify asks you to confirm before exporting it again.
Why don’t I see Export to Campfire at the top of a report?
When Auto-sync is on, Expensify exports reports automatically, so the button only appears at the top of the report if the last export failed. You can still export from More > Export.
Can I export individual expenses to Campfire?
No. You export whole reports to Campfire. Reimbursable expenses become vendor bills and company card expenses become journal entries.
Why does my report say “No Campfire vendor found for” when exporting to Campfire?
Campfire couldn’t find a vendor with the same email address as the person who submitted the report. Add that person as a vendor in Campfire, make sure the email addresses match, and try the export again.
Why does my report say “Please select a Campfire company card account” when exporting to Campfire?
A Company card account hasn’t been selected for Campfire exports. Choose one in your Campfire export settings, then try the export again.
