Expensify Web Receipts for Google Chrome™

Keeping track of your online purchases is easy when merchants email you the receipt, especially since Expensify allows you to forward a copy to receipts@expensify.com! But what about those cases when the merchant doesn’t email a receipt? Expensify has a solution! Enter our free browser extension for Google Chrome™, which makes it easy to create web receipts that flow right into the Receipts page in Expensify.

Requirements

Expensify Web Receipts is only available on Google Chrome™. Please make sure you have the latest version of Chrome installed by clicking on “About Google Chrome” from within your web browser. If you don’t have Google Chrome installed, it’s available for free download at google.com/chrome.

Installing the Expensify Web Receipts Extension

Expensify Web Receipts for Google Chrome™ is available for free download from the Chrome Web Store.

Enable Expensify Web Receipts

When you use Expensify Web Receipts for the first time, you are required to log into Expensify.

Remember to protect your account data! Always ensure that the address bar in your browser says you are at Expensify.com before entering your account information. 

After logging in, you are required to “allow” access to your Expensify account.

Using Expensify Web Receipts

With the Expensify Web Receipts extension, you can right-click on a page and click “Create Receipt From Page.”

 

Or you can click on the Expensify logo in the top righthand corner of your Google Chrome™ browser.
